Here is a Brick wall limiter that i made in order to prevent digital clipping of the ADC, it was loosely based around the PRISM SOUND overkiller, it is designed to act as a soft clipper, which will hopefully sound a little nicer than the hard clipped signal of the converters. this is only the prototype, and i have yet to build the final version. for the next build, i plan on have a bit more head room, closer to digital maximum, so as not to lose as much signal level, also i am going to change some components in the hope of getting a smoother waveform. the prism sound overkiller is roughly around £150, this build cost me just over £3 I’m going to experiment a little bit more with this. and maybe make it into a more useable item. the two switch are bypass, and balanced/unbalanced switch.
